Open Season launch – your chance to secure capacity in one of the most exciting global LNG markets!

Grain LNG has launched an ‘Open Season’ offering primary capacity to the market from July 2025. This follows a very successful Expression of Interest (‘EOI’) exercise in the first half of 2019 which demonstrated a clear market appetite for expansion of the Terminal.? Open Season Timeline:

Due to current world events, we will be launching Phase 2 of the Open Season later than originally intended.? It remains our intention however to launch as soon as possible. Exact dates will be communicated in due course following discussions with our regulator.

Next steps

Grain LNG will update its proposal and contracts to reflect the feedback received during the consultation process. Following publication of the final, revised contracts in the new year, binding bids will then be invited. These must be submitted in writing using the Form of Offer provided in the Open Season Notice.
